After a thorough check, I found a little pink hot-spot on her paw pad. She was licking it non-stop, which was also a sign something was up. I applied some of this DIY paw wax to her pad, and by the next day, she was back to her happy self.

I absolutely LOVE this DIY paw wax for skin irritations, to protect against both hot and icy cold pavement, and most importantly, to heal paw pad injuries. The recipe contains calendula oil, which has natural healing properties, and coconut oil, a natural antibacterial that helps stop infections.
